6A First Round of Playoffs
Layton at Copper Hills: In yesterday’s playoff game, the Copper Hills Grizzlies defeated the Layton Lancers 15-8, advancing Copper Hills to the second round. Ranked 16th heading into playoffs, Copper Hills will face Riverton on away turf on Thursday, May 16th, at 4 PM. These two teams have common opponents including Corner Canyon and Mountain Ridge. Riverton beat Corner Canyon 22-11 and Mountain Ridge 12-9, while Copper Hills fell to Corner Canyon 12-20 and Mountain Ridge 0-20. Despite a tough season with a 0-10 region record and 4-13 overall, Copper Hills looks to turn the tables against Riverton, who boasts a strong 9-1 region and 14-2 season record, including a previous 20-1 win over Copper Hills in mid-March.
American Fork at Lehi:Â Â In a decisive 16-5 victory, the Lehi Pioneers defeated American Fork in Tuesday's playoff game. Advancing to the second round of the 6A playoffs, 15th-ranked Lehi will face off against the 2nd-ranked, Fremont Silverwolves on Thursday at 4 PM. Despite Lehi's 6-11 overall record, they'll be looking to challenge Fremont, who boasts a strong 14-2 record. The teams haven't played each other this season, but against common opponent Pleasant Grove, Fremont won 10-5 in early March, whereas Lehi lost 15-9 in mid-April and 7-2 in early May.

5A First Round of Playoffs
Clearfield at Bonneville: Bonneville and Clearfield battled it out, with Bonneville emerging victorious in a close 8-7 game. This win advances Bonneville to the second round, where they will face off against Olympus on May 16th at Olympus.
Northridge at Skyline: The Eagles Soar with a 19-5 Victory The Eagles soared high with a commanding 19-5 lead over Northridge. Skyline will advance to play Box Elder on May 16th at Box Elder. These teams have two common opponents: Woods Cross and Northridge. Box Elder defeated Woods Cross 10-8 on May 8th and Northridge 13-5 on May 1st. Skyline beat Woods Cross 11-10 on May 10th and just secured a 19-5 victory over Northridge.
Spanish Fork at Bountiful: where Bountiful triumphed over Spanish Fork on Tuesday night with a decisive 19-7 victory. The Red Hawks will advance to the second round to face Brighton on May 16th at Brighton. Both Bountiful and Brighton have played Northridge this season. Bountiful defeated Northridge 14-4 on April 19, while Brighton secured a 15-0 victory against Northridge on April 22.
Timpview at Cedar Valley: Cedar Valley Defends Their Turf. Cedar Valley defended their turf with a decisive 25-10 victory over Timpview. Next up for Cedar Valley is a match against Maple Mountain on May 16th at Maple Mountain. This will not be the first meeting between the teams; Maple Mountain previously defeated Cedar Valley 13-8 on May 8th.
Springville at Alta: Alta dominated Springville with a commanding 20-6 win. Next, Alta will face Park City on May 16th at Park City. The teams recently met on Friday, with Park City emerging victorious with a 19-4 win.
Roy at Highland: Highland Dominates with a 22-10 Victory. Highland doubled Roy's goals, finishing with a commanding 22-10 lead. Highland is set to play Viewmont on May 16th at Viewmont. Viewmont's last matchup against Roy was on May 3rd, where they dominated with a 16-6 win.
4A First Round of Playoffs
Jordan at Logan: In an exciting playoff game last night, the Logan Grizzlies triumphed over the Jordan Beetdiggers 9-6. With this victory, Logan (ranked 16th) advances to the second round of the 4A playoffs, where they'll face the top-ranked Bear River on Thursday, May 16th, at 4 PM. Despite Logan's challenging season with a 2-14 overall record, they'll be looking to upset the undefeated Bear River team. Bear River has played Logan already this season, winning 17-2 at the end of April and 20-0 just last week.Â
