6A First Round of Playoffs

No. 16 Mountain Ridge (14) vs No. 7 Layton (4)
In the 6A first-round game, #16 Mountain Ridge paraded over #7 Layton with a dominant 14-4 underdog win. Kade Pearce was the standout, scoring four goals, while Brock Cutler and Gavin Wright each netted two. With this victory, the Sentinels move on to challenge top-seeded Corner Canyon Chargers in the second round.
No. 15 Syracuse vs No. 18 Copper Hills
The #18 Copper Hills Grizzlies get the best of the #15 Syracuse Titans in a 15-10 victory. Spencer Moffitt scored 6 goals for the Grizzlies, while Brian Cook tallied 15 saves in the net. Copper Hills will now look to take on the dominant #2 Fremont Silver Wolves.

5A First Round of Playoffs

No. 10 Bountiful (1) vs No. 23 Clearfield (24)
The Red Hawks breezed past the Falcons 24-1 this afternoon in Bountiful. Bountiful looks ahead to face tough No. 7 Alta on Thursday in Sandy. Bountiful hopes to build on what has been a somewhat letdown year after winning Region 5 last year, while the Hawks want to continue their regular season momentum into the postseason.
No. 14 Skyline (8) vs. No. 18 West Jordan (18)
Skyline handled region foe West Jordan with ease winning the contest 18-8 in Millcreek. Skyline plays No. 3 Park City on Thursday. Park City is sure to be the favorite in this one, but don’t be surprised if Skyline keeps it close. Last time these two met, the Miners won 9-5 and it’s sure to be another physical battle between these two region rivals.
No. 13 Highland (17) vs. No. 20 Bonneville (3)
Highland demolished the Lakers winning 17-3 led by Junior attackman Kevin Clinger. The Rams face No. 4 Roy on Thursday. Roy, surprising many this year, took first in Region 5 and looks to continue their dominance against Highland before semis next week at Westminster.
No. 16 Viewmont (9) vs. No. 17 Salem Hills (11)
Salem Hills upset the Vikings on Tuesday in a thrilling 11-9 contest. The Skyhawks, led by Seniors Brigham Halford and Parker Crowley, take on 5A favorite Brighton on Thursday in Cottonwood Heights.
No. Box Elder (25) vs. No. 24 West (0)
The Bees dominated West High 25-0 on Thursday in Box Elder. The Bees finished 4th in Region 5 this year but still got a higher seed because of their talent and growth from last year. Next up, Box Elder heads south to No. 8 Wasatch for a very intriguing 5A round 2 matchup.
No. 12 Spanish Fork (10) vs. No. 21 Cedar Valley (9)
The Aviators surprised region rival Spanish Fork 10-9 even after finishing 6th in Region 7. In what's been a disappointing year for Cedar Valley, this first round win is sure to give them lots of momentum heading into round 2. Next up, the Aviators take on No. 5 Northridge on Thursday in Layton.
No. 15 Woods Cross (9) vs. No. 18 Timpview (10)
The Thunderbirds beat the Wildcats 10-9 in a tough first round matchup between two middle of the pack teams. Timpview heads to heavy contender Olympus in round 2. Olympus, 14-2 on the year is sure to come out strong, but don’t count this Timpview team out.
4A First Round of Playoffs

Judge Memorial (1) vs Hillcrest (16)
Judge Memorial Dominant once again as they have been this season with a 22-2 Victory over Hillcrest, with 12 of those happening in the first quarter, this win advances Judge Memorial to the second round against the 9 seed Timpanogos this Saturday.
Orem (8) vs Timpanogos (9)
Timpanogos with the upset having a 10-4 victory last night. They move on looking to take down the 1 seed Judge memorial this Saturday.
Payson (4) vs Logan (13)
Payson continues their 7, Now 8 game winning streak with a strong win against Logan, 18-3. They now look to take on the Green Canyon Wolves at home this Saturday.
Green Canyon (5) vs Mountain Crest (12)
Green Canyon and Mountain Crest now playing for the third time this year leads to nail biter finish for the wolves. A 6-5 win pushes Green Canyon into the second round, hoping to take down the 4 seed Payson.
Sky View (2) vs Mountain View (15)
Sky View High School dominated last night, showing exactly why they are ranked Number 2. With a Dominant 23-1 victory over Mountain View these Bobcats are keeping their winning streak alive as they look to face off once against the Bear River Bears once again.
Waterford (7) vs Bear River (10)
The Bear River Bears take Down the Waterford With a 10-9 victory to advance to the next round Against Sky view this Saturday. Bear River looks to Take Down the Bobcats in their Third Matchup this year.
Juan Diego (3) vs Provo (14)
Juan Diego with a Dominant performance last night with a 20-1 victory over the Provo Bulldogs. Juan Diego looking to continue on against Ridgeline this Saturday
Ridgeline (6) vs Jordan (11)
The Ridgeline Riverhawks with a strong win, 12-3 over Jordan this last Tuesday, Pushes the Riverhawks to the second round where they will get the chance to upset the Number 3 seed Juan Diego.
