Boys: Payson starting attack line
Gary Bolton, attack: The first player in program history to pass 200 career points. Passed 200 career points in a 10-point game against Mountain View. Gary also had five goals, and one assist in a win against Timpanogos.
Jared Keel, attack: Now with more than 150 career points. Reached this milestone with a five-goal and two-assist game against Mountain View. Also had one goal and three assists against Timpanogos.
Scott Rasmussen, attack: Reached 100 career points with a one-goal, five-assist game against Mountain View. He’s the fastest player to reach 100 points in Payson lacrosse history.
Girls
Lydia Poulson, Salem Hills High School, defense
Team captain Poulson helped her team clinch the Region 7 championship over Wasatch with a 16-10 victory. In the last two games of the regular season, she had a combined four goals and two assists.
Ella Clark, Cedar Valley High School, midfield
In Cedar Valley’s last region match against Maple Mountain, Ella scored seven goals, clinching the tight victory for CV.
Josie Haddock, Hillcrest High School, midfield
In the team’s two last regular-season games, Josie had 21 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers, and a draw percentage of 78%.
