Love the pannell tweet!! Something I was taught from a young age, these kids need that knowledge. Angles are everything.

Late to the game, would love to see top list of top historic teams in Utah at HS and Collegiate level. Would be cool to read more about some of the teams of the past few decades!

This has probably been mentioned before, but I would still love to see a playoff/league format as a European soccer model. Too much history with smaller schools in lacrosse that "Student body population" models don't take into consideration. PC & Oly would be in the main league annually, while allowing other sanctioned yet floundering lacrosse schools to build momentum slowly instead of trying to eat at the big boy table.

I like that idea! It would never happen unless all regions and all sports/schools agreed, but it's fun to think about. I think the only problem is that high school teams fluctuate in talent more than a professional soccer team...

For example, if you look at Juan Diego last year, they finished 10th in the last RPI. Their RPI today is closer to the 40th best team in the state. Farmington finished 3rd last year in RPI but are closer to 33rd this year.

Basically I think it would be a year off so to speak. JD/Farmington would be in the 'Premier League' so to speak but would be more of a Championship squad... but they would get relegated this year and with the talent coming back, etc, they could be a PL team again but playing in the Championship.

That is absolutely within the realm of possibilities, although I do think it would be more difficult for a team who was previously relegated to compete for a "Premier League" championship coming of relegation, it isn't likely (solely expressing my opinion). I see the disparity of talent across 6A & 5A and think, there's got to be a better model. I am grateful for the model we have, but there's always room for efficiencies.
